Hot Summer Days = Cool Thoughts....

Ladies and Gentlemen it reached 100 degrees in OKC at noon today...I needed something to look at to take my mind off this awful heat....thus I found some pictures that help cool me a little bit...

The cool Rain of Spring and Fall...How I long for it...

The tranquility of a beach with a gentl breeze blowing...

Mother Nature's Waterfalls...Oh how I wish I could blink myself there...

This is in my refrigerator as we speak....Juicy and sweet...

And finally the one thing that could truly cool me off.....snowwwwwww...LOL...

Yea I know I'm being pathetic..LOL..This heat is awful and I hate it...I long for the fall to be here with the falling leaves and wispy breezes...I'll be better in a few days, but today I just want to think about something coooool...I hope all is well with you all...Stay cool and God Bless... Monta

Hi, Monta, thanks for stopping by & leaving me a note. So nice to meet another fellow decorator. You are so right when you said that decorating is hard work & sweaty business. It sure it!! It's harder than I thought it would be, but very rewarding.

Hope you'll come back & visit often!

Hi Monta! Thanks for stopping by my space -now I know where to find you! How lucky you are to DECORATE everyday! I always joke to my husband that we need a few more homes so I can have my way with them! I know each one would be different with all the fabulous design styles nowadays. I too, love the western decor, lots of rustic mixed in with some good soft leather! Beautiful yet comfy. We live on a ranch with horses & cattle. Lots of hard work but our kids have really enjoyed bottle feeding some calfs when necessary. We did breed a couple of mares and had a few fillys but sadly we had to put one down after two colic surgeries when she was a year old. A really devastating part after raising a baby from day one, so can't put our hearts out there like that again! :( But they are beautiful animals and feel lucky to have had the chance to do that. I hope you get your dream one day, it's been an adventure for sure for us! :) Well try to stay cool, we have had a few scorchers here in CA too. Have fun decorating those homes, please post more when you get the chance! ~ Laurie

Hate the heat myself! Abandon my gardens when it's over 90 like it was last week. Come visit...I've finally posted a story. Hopefully it will make you laugh.
